Following breakfast, we embark on a captivating 4-hour city tour that unveils the finest of Buenos Aires. As we mentioned earlier, Buenos Aires stands as South America’s most profoundly European city, owing to the architectural influence of the early 20th century—a period when Argentina held the esteemed rank of the sixth country globally.

Our comprehensive tour encompasses various quarters of the city. We immerse ourselves in La Boca, an iconic locale encompassing Caminito and the famed Boca Juniors Stadium, affectionately known as “La Bombonera”. Naturally, we will  visit San Telmo, a traditional Buenos Aires treasure. Keep in mind that on Sundays, the renowned San Telmo fair comes alive, offering a treasure trove of intriguing antiques.

Our journey further includes a visit to the historic Plaza de Mayo, home to the Government House, or “Casa Rosada” along with the Cabildo, the Cathedral, and a tapestry of historical narratives within this iconic square. We will also lay eyes upon the Obelisk and the grandeur of 9 de Julio Avenue. The illustrious Colon Theatre beckons, recognized as one of the globe´s foremost opera houses. This voyage of exploration introduces us to other facets of the city, encompassing the neighborhoods of Recoleta, Palermo, and Puerto Madero—a revitalized dockside district boasting a cornucopia of culinary delights. Here, you can conclude your journey with a splendid lunch, savoring the flavors of local gastronomy.

Following this excursion, you are free to embrace the city at your own pace. A wealth of activities awaits, including a visit to the Colon Theatre with a Walking Tour, or an exploration of the Tigre Delta.

in the evening, we will transfer to you a local tango house in Buenos Aires to enjoy a wonderful Dinner Tango Show. Return around midnight.

After breakfast, we will transfer to yto local pier to cross the Rio de la Plata and arrive to Colonia de Sacramento in Uruguay.

Colonia del Sacramento, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is a picturesque town in Uruguay renowned for its well-preserved colonial architecture and cobblestone streets. It is located just across the Río de la Plata from Buenos Aires, making it an accessible and popular day trip destination.

Morning Departure from Buenos Aires:

The journey begins with a ferry ride from Buenos Aires to Colonia. Ferries such as Buquebus, Colonia Express, or Seacat provide a comfortable and scenic trip across the river, usually lasting about an hour.

Arrival in Colonia del Sacramento:

Once you arrive, you\’ll be greeted by the charming atmosphere of Colonia. The town’s historic quarter is easily walkable, making it perfect for a day of leisurely exploration.

Start with a guided tour to understand the rich history of Colonia. Key attractions include:

Calle de los Suspiros (Street of Sighs): A beautifully preserved street that captures the essence of the colonial era.

Plaza Mayor: The main square surrounded by historic buildings, museums, and quaint shops.

Basilica del Santísimo Sacramento: One of the oldest churches in Uruguay, known for its simple yet beautiful architecture.

Free time for lunch Enjoy a delicious lunch at one of the local restaurants, where you can savor Uruguayan specialties such as Chivito (a traditional sandwich) or fresh seafood.

Then, transfer by bus to Montevideo. Arrival and overnight.

After breakfast, we will start the visit to the capital city for approximately 3 and a half hours, visiting the main attractions of the city. You will be able to know the Old City with rich architecture, the Mercado del Puerto, the Microcentro, the Plaza Independencia, the Legislative Palace, the romantic neighborhood known as the Prado, the Centenario Stadium, its green parks with beautiful monuments, the elegant residential neighborhoods of Carrasco, Punta Gorda and Pocitos, along the exceptional promenade that accompanies a panoramic string of beautiful beaches. Free time until transfer back to pier to take ferryboat back to Buenos Aires.
